PiñataPiñata is a group gifting platform for children's celebrations. Instead of everyone buying separate presents, friends and family pool small contributions toward one meaningful gift. The parent creates a page, shares the link, and guests contribute however much they like.

The event organiser creates a celebration page with a gift goal and shares the link. Guests visit the page and contribute any amount they choose — no account needed. Once they've connected a bank account through Stripe, the organiser can withdraw the funds straight to it.

No. Guests can contribute without creating an account. Only event organisers need to sign in.

Creating a Piñata is free for organisers, and so is withdrawing the money. When you chip in, 100% of your gift goes to the child. There's a flat 2% + 20p service fee, the same for every payment method. You can also add an optional extra to support PiñataPiñata, but there's no pressure.

Guests can pay by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.

Yes, the minimum gift is £1.

Yes. On the contribution form, tick "Contribute anonymously" and your name will not be shown to the organiser or on any public display. You will still receive a confirmation email to your own address.

Yes. You will receive a confirmation email with the amount, the event name, and a transaction reference as soon as your payment is processed.

As soon as they've connected a bank account through Stripe, our secure payments partner. Withdrawals can be made any time from the dashboard, with a minimum of £1.

The organiser can still withdraw whatever has been raised — the goal is a target, not a requirement. Contributions are not refunded if the goal is missed.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Gifts are held in PiñataPiñata's Stripe account until the organiser withdraws them to their own bank account.

Yes. We only collect what we need to process your contribution and send your confirmation. We never sell your data. You can opt in to occasional product updates at checkout, but this is optional and you can unsubscribe at any time. We comply with UK GDPR.
